One other observation: During my last test sessions, I run a internet streaming application (launched before I invoke VMware Player), that continues playing a internet radio station without any trouble, although the system was terrible slow (it seems to me, that the "slowlyness" is only for new processes). But I'm not able to run Win 7 ressource monitor - or it is extremly slow. Inspecting the running processes, memory and cpu load indicates 30 % used memory and 7 % used CPU. the host is also terrible slow - it takes minutes to invoke Task Manager
the guests are no more responsive or extreamly slow If I try to run two guests simultaneously in VMware Player, my system freeze (reproducible behavior). sometimes the VMware Player or the guest are showing a slow responsivness or guest simply hungs (but occurs seldom). First I thought it has something to do with 32-Bit-edition - but since 12 months I run my tests on a 64-Bit-Windows 7 Ultimate. I can confirm a similar problem with VMware Player 3.x (and also VMware Workstation 7.x) under Windows 7.
